COVID-19 NOTICE FROM EMPOWERED TO HEAL
We hope you are safe during this time. Please make sure you are washing your hands for 20 seconds frequently, wearing your masks when going out, and only going out when absolutely necessary. We at Empowered to Heal recognize that trauma services are essential and we are available to assist you with your needs. Please call our contact number when you are in need as we do not have regular office hours due to COVID-19. Some services we can assist via phone, online or use ZOOM. WE still maintain confidentiality. Empowered to Heal will resume in-person services September 1st with 24 hour appt scheduling. Temperature will be checked upon arrival and a masked must be worn. If you have any systems such as cough, fever, sneezing, etc, you will have to reschedule for a later date. This is to ensure that volunteer staff of Empowered to Heal are keep safe.

Sharing information that empowers survivors and their families. It starts with educating your and your loved ones. We are Partners in Prevention with Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children. Stewards is a 2 hour evidence based training that teaches abuse prevents and signs of abuse.

New clients who meet the requirements, will be offered cellphones. To receive a cellphone:
You must not currently have a cellphone.
You must be at or below the income requirements set by the Department of Social Services.
You must be a survivor of sexual trauma.
You must be 18 and older.
